Getting Started/On-Ramp

Here at CrossFit Liverpool We like to offer a variety of ways to bring people into our community.

Over the years we have toyed with many different methods for those people who want to get a real feel for the community of CrossFit and there is no better way to do this than through the ‘On-Ramp’ program.

Before you sign upto Personal ‘On-Ramp’ course we ask that you first attend a FREE 1-2-1 assessment session click here during this session you will be taken through your goals, your past training experiences and a functional movement screen, all of which are designed to give you the best possible introduction to your new CrossFit lifestyle.

You can book onto these sessions on the ‘Book a class” tab, you will need to set up an account with us, but don’t worry there is no charge for this session. Be fast though as we only have 2 spaces available each week!

“The emphasis of the On-Ramp is on skill development and exposure to our basic movements. It is designed to prepare you to enter our ongoing group classes. We are going to be hammering technique—both to ensure your safety—and success at the next level.”

On-Ramp curriculum consists of 3 sessions run over a 1 week period. During this time we will expose you to the following fundamental CrossFit movements:

  • The Squat
  • The Front Squat
  • The Press
  • The Push Press
  • The Deadlift
  • The Russian Swing

By the end of the Course you will feel confident enough with the movements to continue straight into the regular classes. There will be a small test after the final sessions which will confirm your learning and cement this confidence ready to start your progression to the next level.
